Leicester city, on Monday 10th of April 2023, appoint Dean Smith as the new manager of the club till the end of the season.

Smith said that he is happy to work as the manager of the club. In 2019/2020, Dean Smith led Aston Villa out of the relegation zone. They grabbed eight points from their last four matches, which took them to 17th position. Leicester city believe that Smith can help them to escape the relegation this season.
